Antoine Millius, an independent tiler, founded the business in 1980 assisted by his wife Ursula. In 2006, Joël, his 19 year old youngest son, undertook a second tiler apprenticeship, sharing his dad’s passion for tiling. The same year, the family business set up a limited company, thereby giving life to “Millius Carrelage Sàrl”.

Millius Carrelage Sàrl has its premises above Icogne, a village located between the Crans-Montana resort, Sierre and Sion, and is active throughout the Valais region. After significantly increasing its workforce since 2008, the business now numbers about twenty people and ten vehicles, so that several teams can deployed to different, variable sized projects. This recent growth of the company has had no impact on the family business culture of which the values are and will always remain the quality of the completed work and meeting deadlines. It also guarantees the level of its qualified employees (tiler qualification, Swiss federal qualification).
Training is important to the business and it hires an apprentice every year. Joël Millius, the company founder and an associate, got his Swiss federal qualification in 2015.
Finally Millius Carrelage Sàrl is above all a young and dynamic business, that loves innovating and using cutting edge technology to manage itself. This is not to the detriment of its philosophy which gives priority to human values, customer feedback and being close to its employees.
